NEWBERRY, FL - Clivia Laurence Bradley, 90, passed away Sunday, March 25, 2018, at E. T. York Hospice Care Center in Gainesville, Fla.
She was born in New Bedford, Mass. on June 28, 1927, the daughter of Mary and Martin Laurence. She moved to Swannanoa, N.C., and graduated from Swannanoa High School. She then moved to Winder, Ga. with her parents and later attended Western Carolina University at Cullowhee, N.C. In Winder, she worked at General Telephone. On July 22, 1950, she married Lyman L. (Bud) Bradley in Athens, Ga. After marriage, Clivia and Bud moved to Orlando, Fla., where she worked for Sears Catalog Department for 26 years, and then retired and moved to Gainesville and also Murphy, N.C.
Clivia is survived by her husband, Lyman Bud Bradley; and daughter, Patricia B. Johnson and son-in-law, Dr. Robert Johnson, Gainesville.
A Graveside Service was held in Barrow Memorial Gardens in Winder.

Mr. Reynolds was born in Maysville, the son of the late James Arthur Reynolds and Ola Mae Davidson Reynolds. Survivors include a sister, Sara Frances Hanson and her husband Harris of Jefferson, two brothers, Joseph Clarence Reynolds and his wife Barbara of Cornelia, and Wylie Eugene Reynolds and his wife Barbara of Jefferson; niece and caregiver, Mary Ann Barnwell, Jefferson, and a number of other nieces and nephews.

WINDER - Donna Webber Clayton, 66, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 10, 2018.
A native of Winder, Ms. Clayton was an active member of the Winder First Baptist Church where she was part of the Daughters of the King Sunday school class. Ms. Clayton graduated from Winder-Barrow High School with the class of 1969, where she was a member of the band and a drum majorette. She enjoyed working in her yard and tending to her flower gardens. She was retired from Georgia Perimeter College as an administrative assistant. Ms. Clayton was preceded in death by her father, Leon Walker Webber.
Survivors include her mother, Betty Webber Hix and step-father Frank Hix, Winder; son, Zack Clayton, Winder; daughters, Heather (Rob) Thomas, Social Circle, and Rachelle (Randy) Fuchs, Chattanooga Tenn.; brothers, Michael Webber, Colorado, and Scott Webber, Gainesville; grandchildren, Payton and Walker Thomas; and numerous beloved cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Born in Athens, he was the son of the late Oran Freeman Weaver and Mary Lou Carter Weaver and brother to the late Billy Ray Carter and Oren Ray Weaver. Ted had work for the Oglethorpe County High School as a custodian and at various rock quarries. He was an avid outdoorsman that enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors in addition to his wife Linda, include his daughter, Melissa (Jeremy) Payne; brothers, William (Donna) Weaver and Mitchel Weaver; sister, Peggy Franklin; and a number of nieces and nephews.

HOSCHTON - Jose A. Alvarez, 59, passed away on March 26, 2018.
Jose is survived by his wife Deborah of 32 years, his two daughters Christina Alvarez of Londonderry, N.H., and Brandi, her wife Michelle Bitetti, granddaughter Ashley Grubb, from Evans, Ga.; his father, Dr. Manuel L. Alvarez, Savannah; older brother and best friend, Manuel (Mike) Alvarez, Richmond Hill, Ga.; brother, Edward Alvarez (Lissa), Pooler, Ga.; four nephews, Michael Alvarez, Christopher Alvarez (Stephanie), Stephen Alvarez, and Conner Woerner; along with many cousins he loved dearly from Miami, Fla. He was preceded in death by his mother, Pomposa Noemi Alvarez and sister, Lizette M. (Lisa) Woerner.
Jose attended Riverside Military Academy in Gainesville, Ga. and continued his studies at Daniel Webster University in Nashua, N.H., graduating with a Bachelor of Science. Jose worked as a Network Administrator for ASA Tire System / Friedman USA, Inc. for 33 years. He loved his work and enjoyed helping others.
He married his wife Deborah in Savannah in 1985. In 1990, Jose, Deborah, Brandi and Christina (4 weeks old) moved to New Hampshire. In February 2011, they purchased a home in the Gates of Braselton, Hoschton, Ga.
Jose will be remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and cousin.
Jose fought a year long battle against cancer. He was surrounded by his family when he traveled to Heaven. Jose will meet our Lord and speak again, breathe again and see again, and have a feast with him. He will celebrate and begin his eternal life.
Jose leaves an indelible mark on our lives and will be forever in our hearts.
The family will have a private celebration of his life.

AUBURN - Robert "Bobby" Calvin Nelson III, 24, passed away on Friday, April 6, 2018.
A native of Barrow County, he was the son of Robert Calvin Nelson, Jr. of Bethlehem and Patricia Nix Wilkins of Madison. Mr. Nelson was a 2011 graduate of Appalachee High School and attended Hebron Baptist Church. He was an avid gamer and had a special bond with his beloved dog, Marley, and several bearded dragons. He will be best remembered as a loving son, husband, father, uncle, and a friend to many.
Mr. Nelson was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joe and Delia Nix; step-grandmother, Lillian Wilkins; and uncle, Joey Nix.

AUBURN - Nina Mae Vega, 67 entered into eternity on April 4, 2018.
A native of Jellico, Tenn., she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Offie Ball Alsip. She was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Hill; and a son, Scott Cox. Mrs. Vega had resided in Auburn for the past three years and was a former resident of Doraville, Ga. She was of the Baptist denomination.

BRISTOL, VA - Michael Everett Williamson, 65, passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2018, in the Bristol Regional Medical Center, Bristol, Tenn.
He was born in Winder, Ga. on May 12, 1952, the son of the late Winford Everett Williamson and Velma Jean Martin Williamson. Mr. Williamson was preceded in death by two sisters, Marsha Baxter Reeves and Lynda Standridge; and one brother, Timothy Williamson. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and enjoyed fishing and woodworking.
Survivors include his loving wife of 24 years, Vestia Cromer Williamson; one daughter, Amanda Young Ibrahim and husband, Ashraf; one stepson, Richard Cromer and wife, Victoria; four grandsons, Richard Cromer, Jr., Triston Cromer and wife, Sarah, Jacob Ibrahim and Jonah Ibrahim; and several nieces and nephews.

James Henry Crawford, Jr. (04-07-18)
BRASELTON - Jim Crawford, went to be with the Lord on April 7, 2018, at the age of 68, following a yearlong cancer journey.
Jim will be forever remembered as a devoted husband and father by his wife and best friend of 43 years, Kathey, and his two sons, Eric (Cindy), and Ryan (Jessica). He was an awesome "Pa" to three grandchildren, Charlie, Clark, and Quinn Crawford. He will also be fondly remembered by his sister, Betty (Don), and many other extended family members and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his father, James Henry Crawford; his mother, Mattie Crawford; and his older brother, Charles Crawford.
Jim would tell you that his three greatest accomplishments in life were accepting Jesus Christ as his Savior and Lord, marrying the love of his life, Kathey, and being the father of two wonderful sons, Eric and Ryan. He loved people and never met a stranger. He had a servant heart and a generous spirit. Many hearts have been touched by his courageous cancer journey this past year. He never wavered in his faith, positive attitude, or determination.
Jim was originally from Highlands, N.C. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree at Mars Hill College, in Mars Hill, N.C. and completed a Master of Arts degree at the University of Alabama. He was first employed as a teacher and coach in Charlotte, N.C. and later came to Georgia as headmaster of George Walton Academy. He entered the business world in 1984 as a Residential Marketing Representative at Walton EMC in Monroe, Ga. and then moved to Jackson EMC in Jefferson, Ga. as a Commercial and Industrial Marketing Representative. He became Director of Corporate Affairs for Jackson EMC in 1988 and from 1992 until his retirement in 2016 served as Vice President of Customer and District Services.
Jim was actively involved in his church and community. He was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ and served as a Deacon, Treasurer, Choir Member, and Kids Hope mentor at North Metro Baptist Church. Because of his leadership and planning abilities, he served on the Finance Team, the Building Committee, and the Strategic Planning Committee. He was involved in Rotary International, serving as a past president of the South Gwinnett Rotary Club, and as Assistant Governor for District 6910. He established the RYLA (Modified Outward Bound) Program for rising high school juniors and facilitated that program for 5 years. He was a graduate of the first Leadership Gwinnett Class. For over 40 years, Jim was a faithful Red Cross blood donor. Jim's hobbies included landscaping, traveling, reading, and spending time with his family. Some of Jim's many memorable experiences in recent years included skydiving in Hawaii in 2014, his baptism in the Jordan River in 2014, and singing in a Christmas Concert at Carnegie Hall in 2016.
A celebration of Jim's life will be held on Thursday, April 12, at 4 p.m. at North Metro Baptist Church, 1026 Old Peachtree Road NE, Lawrenceville, GA with Dr. Frank Cox officiating. The remains will be placed in state at the church at 3 p.m. Family visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 11, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Flanigan Funeral Home, 4400 South Lee Street, Buford, GA. A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 13, at 2 p.m. at Highlands Memorial Park, Memorial Park Drive, Highlands, NC.

Because of his leadership and planning abilities, he served on the Finance Team, the Building Committee, and the Strategic Planning Committee. He was involved in Rotary International, serving as a past president of the South Gwinnett Rotary Club, and as Assistant Governor for District 6910. He established the RYLA (Modified Outward Bound) Program for rising high school juniors and facilitated that program for 5 years. He was a graduate of the first Leadership Gwinnett Class. For over 40 years, Jim was a faithful Red Cross blood donor. Jim's hobbies included landscaping, traveling, reading, and spending time with his family. Some of Jim's many memorable experiences in recent years included skydiving in Hawaii in 2014, his baptism in the Jordan River in 2014, and singing in a Christmas Concert at Carnegie Hall in 2016.
A celebration of Jim's life will be held on Thursday, April 12, at 4 p.m. at North Metro Baptist Church, 1026 Old Peachtree Road NE, Lawrenceville, GA with Dr. Frank Cox officiating. The remains will be placed in state at the church at 3 p.m. Family visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 11, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Flanigan Funeral Home, 4400 South Lee Street, Buford, GA. A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 13, at 2 p.m. at Highlands Memorial Park, Memorial Park Drive, Highlands, NC.

WARNER ROBINS - On the morning of Friday, April 6, 2018, Jean Haggard went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in heaven. She was 72 years old.
Jean was born in Brockton, Ga. on November 9, 1945, and was raised in Jefferson and Commerce, Ga. She was an alumnus of Commerce High School where she showcased her athleticism in playing basketball and broke the record for rebounds. Jean even broke her own record. In 1962, she graduated from high school, and in that same year, married Raymond Haggard, the love of her life.
Early in their marriage, Jean dedicated herself to being a wonderful homemaker and was darn good at it. She began her career at Kelly Services Temp Agency where she was their number one employee. There, she excelled and developed her skills in typing and stenography. Jean then worked for many years as a secretary at Robins Air Force Base where she eventually retired as a Systems Analyst.
Jean had a creative personality, and starting when her sons were young, she began serving as a Boy Scout Leader and enjoyed it for many years. Jean was also a longtime member of First Presbyterian in Warner Robins. She truly loved and lived her life by example always putting faith and family first.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Howard Pressley; her mother, Jewel Jackson Ivy; and her stepfather, John Harold Ivy.
Jean's memory will forever be treasured by her loving husband, William Raymond Haggard of Warner Robins; children, Dixie Ray Haggard and Scott Thomas Haggard, both of Valdosta, and Paige Haggard of Columbia, S.C.; and sisters, Judy K. Swain (Harvey) and Shirley Massey, both of Commerce.
Visitation was held Sunday, April 8, at McCullough Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, April 9, at First Presbyterian Church in Warner Robins. Jean will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
