DANIELSVILLE - Frank Delane Pearson, 85, died Tuesday, April 24, 2018, at his residence.
Mr. Pearson was born in Athens, the son of the late Harvey N. and Bertie Mae Goodrum Pearson. Mr. Pearson was retired from the University of Georgia. He was of the Baptist denomination and was a United States Army veteran. Mr. Pearson was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Dudley Pearson; sisters, Lorene Sorrow, Kathryn Swindel, and Annie Ruth Pearson; and brothers, Leroy Pearson, Harold Pearson, and Vince Pearson.
Survivors include his brother, Gene Pearson, Commerce; sisters, Willette Jackson, Nicholson, Vonnie Parnell, Blenda Smith, and Rebecca Bradberry, all of Athens; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 26, at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with the Revs. Ronnie Healan and John Ingham officiating with the interment following at Athens Memory Gardens. Ms. Ferguson was born on September 9, 1935, in Atlanta. She was preceded in death by her mother, Eloise Meadows; and daughter, Michelle Anderson. She was a member of The Winder Wesleyan Church.

WESTMINSTER, S.C. - Mary Louise Thompson, 98, passed away Saturday, April 21, 2018, at the Cottingham Hospice House.
Born in Franklin County, Ga., she was the daughter of the late Robert Aaron and Nancy Gilbert Thompson. Ms. Thompson formerly worked for the Bank of Braselton, where she was the bookkeeper and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Winder, Ga. Mrs. Thompson was preceded in death by brothers, Cecil, Clayborn, Clayton, Clarence and Lynn Thompson; and sisters, Myrtie Cheek and Minnie Lee Butler.

HULL - Frances Lorene Holcomb, 70, died April 22, 2018, at Piedmont Regional Hospital.
She was born on April 27, 1947, in Bainbridge, Md., the daughter of William Dewitt Holcomb and Amy Lorene (Taylor) Holcomb. She grew up in Athens, Ga., and graduated from Athens High School in 1966. Frances was united in marriage to Neil Erbe in September 1966. They were divorced in 1968. In 1977, she married John Fuller and remained in that relationship until 1986.
Frances was employed by several area businesses, including General Electric, Dairy Pack, and the Atlanta Gas Light Company. During her tenure with the gas company as a Customer Service Representative, she received numerous awards for outstanding interactions with clients. Her most rewarding job was with the Clarke County School District as a paraprofessional. She influenced and enriched the lives of many special needs high school students by mentoring them as a job coach in a variety of local workplaces. Frances retired from the school district in May 2009. She was a member of Hull Baptist Church, the Hull Civic Club, and the Elijah Clarke Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution.
Frances was devoted to her family and friends, especially to those who needed her support, encouragement, and unconditional love. She was preceded in death by her parents, 17 aunts and uncles and 23 first cousins. Survivors include sisters, Barbara Helen Moore, Hartwell, Ga., Carol Ann Holcomb, Manhattan, Kan.; paternal aunt, Annis L. Herring, Athens, Ga.; maternal uncle, Talley Taylor, Leesburg, Fla.; John Dean, her close friend of more than thirty years; and many beloved cousins, nieces, and nephews in various states of the United States.

He was a member and trustee at Pond Fork Baptist Church and was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving in the Korean War. Mr. Hadden was preceded in death by his first wife, Caroline Joyce Hadden; and his infant daughter, Rhonda Lori Hadden.
