Born in Pendergrass, he was the son of the late John Henry Shaw and Vera Mae Maynard Shaw. He was retired after 30 years of service from the General Motors Assembly Plant in Doraville and was a lifelong member of the Walnut Fork Baptist Church in Hoschton. Mr. Shaw was preceded in death by a brother, Randall Shaw.

Mrs. Hadley was a life member of the Women of the Moose and was active in the Senior Club in Staten Island, N.Y. Mrs. Hadley was preceded in death by her husband, John D. Hadley; stepdaughter, Marion Walden; brother, Frank Lewis; sister, Florence Brates; and sister-in-law, Doris Graham.

In addition to her parents, she was survived by her husband, Stanley Westmoreland, Talmo; a daughter, Erin Westmoreland, Talmo; brothers, Bobby Watkins, Lula, Dwight Watkins and Wyman Watkins, both of Carnesville, Jeffery and Courtney Watkins, both of Homer; and sister, Teresa Kesler, Nicholson.
