WINDER - Clyde Reddick, 74, died Friday, August 13, 2010.
He was the son of the late Neal and Magnolia Davis Reddick. Mr. Reddick was preceded in death by a son, Ricky Canup. He had served on the Board of Deacons at Union Baptist Church since 1972, where he operated a camera for the Church’s T.V. Ministry and was a truck driver with Lanier Produce for 24 years.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Lou McDaniel Canup Reddick, Winder; children, Mitch (Pam) Reddick, Flowery Branch, Melanie (Roger) Mathis and Bobby (Debbie) Canup, all of Winder; daughter-in-law, Lynn Canup, Alpharetta; brother, Edward (Donna Sue) Reddick, Winder; ten grandsons; two granddaughters; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sunday, August 15, at Union Baptist Church with the Revs. Rudy Camp, Brian Faglier and Pastor Joe Wingo officiating. Burial was in Union Baptist Church Cemetery.

A native of Winder, she was the daughter of the late Pete and Oris H. Harris. Mrs. Martin was a member of Chapel Christian Church and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl J. Martin; a daughter, Cindy Chandler; granddaughter, Jessica Martin; and sister, Peggy Harris.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Jefferson and was a faithful volunteer of the Ark of Jackson County.
Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Jack Purcell, Jefferson; daughter and son-in-law, Jackie and Doug Thurmond, Jefferson; a son, Carroll Purcell, North Carolina; sisters, Marie Smith, Jonesboro, Jo Benton, Athens; brothers, Ray Donahoo, Dunwoody, Terry Donahoo and Don Donahoo, both of Winder; and four grandsons, Cam, Cason, Tanner and Tyson Thurmond, all of Jefferson.
