Born in Jackson County, she was the daughter of the late Henry Grady and Ellis Sellers Ray. Mrs. Price was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Price.
Survivors include a sister, Emma Virginia Ray Lankford, Douglasville; and nieces and nephews.

LULA – Gene Edison Martin, 70, died Tuesday, January 19, 2010, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.
Born on March 27, 1939, in Jackson County, he was the son of the late Dee and Cynthia Haynes Martin. He was a truck driver and was of the Baptist denomination. Mr. Martin was preceded in death by a brother, William D. Martin; and sisters, Betty Jo Langley and Maxine Marie Moss.
Survivors include his companion, Ruth Downey, Lula; sister, Annette M. Beck, Hoschton; brothers and sisters-in-law, William Tony and Hazel Martin, Cleveland, and Kenneth Phillip and Shirley Martin; and many nieces and nephews.

BALDWIN – Boyce Brady, 89, of the Damascus Church Community, died Wednesday, January 27, 2010, at his residence.
He was born on September 6, 1920, in Banks County, the son of the late Will and Nancy Kelley Brady. Mr. Brady was preceded in death by his wives, Mary Sue Bennett Brady and Marsha Sears Brady; a son, Everage Brady; grandchild and a great-grandchild; brothers, Otha, Owen and Boyd Brady; and sisters, Ola Ausburn, Violet Westbrooks, Mary Hays and Florine Thompson. He was a member and deacon of the Damascus Baptist Church and was retired as a supervisor from Robinson Furniture and Toccoa Manufacturing with 40 years of service. He was a veteran of the United States Army during World War II, having served his country bravely and received the Purple Heart Medal for Valor.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Edna and James Palmer, Toccoa; sons and daughters-in-law, Marvin and Olivia Brady, Eastanollee, Kenneth and Dianne Brady, Gillsville, Edward Brady, Baldwin; stepson and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Carla Roberts, Baldwin; sister, Lillie Mae Pitts, Mt. ALTO – Robert C. Cook Sr., 87, died Monday, January 25, 2010, at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center, following a short illness.
Born on August 31, 1922, he was the son of the late Clarence Neese and Lilly Christine Butler Cook. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cornelia, a member of the Currahee Mountain Good Sams RV Camping Group, and was a United States Navy Veteran, having proudly served his country during World War II, receiving the rank of Chief Petty Officer. He was a very accomplished wood worker.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Patricia Gilmore Cook, Alto; daughter, Nancy Frazier, Elizabeth City, N.C.; sons and daughters-in-law, Robert C. “Rusty” Cook Jr. and Mary Cook, Poinciana, Fla., David and Marcia Cook, Lula; grandchildren, Clint Cook, Duluth, Lorrie Williams, Maryville, Ill., Jenny Parker, Troy, Ill., Lisa Frazier, Bergenfield, N.J., and Patricia Stone, Martinsburg, W. LULA – James Richard Turner, 74, died Tuesday, January 26, 2010, at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
Born on June 11, 1935, in Hall County, he was the son of the late Claud L. and Rader Dodd Turner. He was a retired engineer from the Georgia Department of Transportation and attended the Lula Worship Center. He was very active in his community and was former president and a founding member of the Lula Area Betterment Association. He was an avid gardener and fisherman, and was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Mr. Turner was preceded in death by brothers, Lester Turner, Clyde Turner and Benny Turner; and sisters, Imogene Lewallen, Altheda Davis and Joyce Burke.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Dorothy Merle Turner, Lula; daughters and sons-in-law, Janice and David Bowen, Clermont, Karen and Brad Raper, Lula; sister, Margie Nell Colbert, Gainesville; brother, Roy Turner, Lula; grandchildren, Charles Bowen and his wife, Amanda, Lula, Melissa Bowen, Clermont, James Raper and Lauren Raper, Lula; and great-grandchildren, Rebecca Bowen and Garrison Bowen, both of Lula.
