A native of Madison County, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Bernice Brown Hilley. Mrs. Mann was preceded in death by her first husband, Victor King; and second husband, Erwin Mann.
Survivors include a son, Dwayne King, Colbert; sisters-in-law, Jessie May Hilley and Darlene Hilley, both of Danielsville; grandchildren, Matthew King and Kati King; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A native of Madison County, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Onie Wade Childers, She was a member of the Colbert First Baptist Church. Mrs. Morris was preceded in death by her husband of almost 51 years, Ramie T. Morris; and a brother, Curtis Childers.

ROYSTON – Dick Detter, 83, died Friday, November 27, 2009, at his residence.
Born in Royston on August 8, 1926, he was the son of the late Dewey and Berta Lee Anderson Detter. He attended Royston High School and in 1944 he enlisted in the United States Navy and served in the South Pacific Theater. He was a charter member of the Harrison McCreary VFW Post #4828.
He began working in the plumbing trade in 1948 and founded Detter Plumbing in 1972. Two of his sons went into business with him and they continued to work together until he retired. He always treated his customers with respect and gave good and honest service.
He was an exceptional husband and father and was greatly loved and respected by all who knew him. His service to all he worked for went above and beyond what was expected of him. He was a man who loved life and he always had time for a talk or a laugh or a loan if he had it. He was a humble man of the highest moral character and he enjoyed giving anonymously to those who were in need.

Harold Allen Baise, 42, died Wednesday, November 18, 2009, at his mother’s home in Hull.
He was the son of Doug Baise of Chesapeake, Ohio, and Bob and Sue Money of Hull. He lost a long battle with Hodgkins Lymphoma cancer, and was a member of Galilee Holiness Church, baptized in July of 2009. He graduated from Middlesboro High School in Middlesboro, Ky., in 1985, and then attended the University of Tennessee. He worked in the fast food service industry all of his life before becoming ill.
He was fully devoted to serving God and loved his church family. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him, loved ones stated.
Mr. Baise was preceded in death by grandparents, Rosevelt Baise and a very special grandmother, Gerdie Baise, James Hagerman, Cora Ann Hagerman Shoffner and step-grandfather, Raymond Shoffner and Charles and Lucy Money; brothers, Billy Joe Money and Douglas McAurthur Baise.
