Born in Alachua County, Fla., she was the daughter of Noah A. Green, Land O’Lakes, Fla., and Ava E. Williams Reeves, Jay, Fla. She was a retired media paraprofessional at the Commerce City Schools. Mrs. Tonge was preceded in death by brothers, Noah A. Green III and James Leonard Green.

LULA – Maj. Kevin Michael Jenrette, 37, died Thursday, June 4, 2009, near Kapisa Afghanistan of wounds suffered from an improvised explosive device and small arms fire.
Born on September 2, 1971, the son of Colonel (Ret.) Albert W. “Bill” and Ursula Jenrette of Auburn, Ala. He was a member of Timber Ridge Baptist Church.
Upon graduation from Lyman Ward Military Academy and North Georgia College, he was commissioned a 2nd Lieutenant in the United States Army, where he became an Army Ranger and served with the 25th Infantry Division in Hawaii. He was promoted to Captain on July 1, 1999, and then was an instructor with the 5th Ranger Training Battalion, Camp Merrill, in Dahlonega. In 2005 he was transferred to the Georgia Army National Guard, where he served as a full time officer with the Recruiting Sustainment Program, where he was promoted to Major in August of 2005. At the time of his death, he was serving on the 1-108 RSTA Battalion of the 48th BCT, Ga ARNG. He served his country with courage, honor and humility.

She was a past Carl Town Council member and served as mayor of Carl, the first female mayor in Barrow County. A member of the Eastern Star, she was a volunteer at Barrow Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Alfred G. “Terpie” and Rose Etheridge, Carl; grandchildren, Joey Etheridge, and Debbie and Redd Martin; great-grandchildren, Kelley Martin and Kimberley Martin; and companion and friend, Grady Frank Cheely.

He served in the Naval Reserves and was called to active duty during the Korean War, and was employed at TVA for several years after his discharge. Mr. Muse was preceded in death by a sister, Beth Clemmons.
