Born on April 20, 1940, he was the son of the late Clyde Anderson and Annie Mae Anderson Donahue. He was a member of New Grove Baptist Church.

Mrs. Wardlow was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Donald Wardlow; and siblings, Emmett Hebert and Ellison Hebert, Velma Russum, Lois Shane, and Betty Flickinger.

He was a retired manager having worked in the auto body repair industry, a former body shop advisor for Athens Technical College, a former member of the Madison County Planning Commission, a former assistant coach of little league baseball, a former scout master for Troop 152, and served on various other committees. He was a member of the Jones Chapel United Methodist Church, where he was a member of the United Methodist Men’s Club, a member of the Happy Travelers Club, and a volunteer for the meals on wheels delivery. He was a United States Army veteran, having served during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Hart was preceded in death by a sister, Annie Ree Phillips.
