AUBURN – Rita Audrey Cole, 67, died Saturday, September 26, 2009.
Born in Los Angeles, Calif., she was the daughter of the late George J. and Frances Koster Maat. She had been employed as a supervisor at Borders and was of the Catholic denomination. Mrs. Cole was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Cole.
Survivors include daughters and son-in-lay, Marlita and Philip McCurley, Auburn, and Diane Overlock, Chico, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and sisters, Glenda Miller, Chico, Calif., and Helen Rocha, San Diego, Calif.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Smith Funeral Home, Winder, is in charge of arrangements.
