Born in Clayton County, he was the son of Marie Ledford Parris of Maysville and the late William S. Parris. Mr. Parris was preceded in death by a sister, Cheryl Ann Butler.
Survivors in addition to his mother, include a brother, Allen Eugene Parris, Maysville; sisters, Cynthia Nancy Parris, Gainesville, and Tina Louise Boswell, Maysville.

She was born in Habersham County on June 16, 1959, the daughter of Clara Dyer Seabolt of Cleveland and the late Doyle Seabolt. She was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church and was a homemaker. Mrs. Stancil was preceded in death by sisters, Lois Partin, Sue Pruitt and Sharon Seabolt. She was fond of animals and raised birds, loved ones stated.

He attended Clarkesville Church of God, and was preceded in death by a grandson, Joshua Hoose; and several brothers and sisters. He enjoyed word search puzzles, automotive repair and was also very musically inclined, loved ones stated.
