A native of Jackson County, she was the daughter of the late Harvey Jackson and Alma Ophelia Stephens Dailey.

Born in Jackson County, she was the daughter of Helen Brock of Hoschton and the late Edward Thomas Harbin and was a homemaker. Mrs. Allen was preceded in death by sisters, Joyce Wheeler and Rita Patterson.

She was a member of the New Pentecost United Methodist Church, a member of the Statham Chapter Order of Eastern Star for 33 years and was Worthy Matron, a member of Winder Pilot Club, and member of the Red Hat Society. She was a 1949 graduate of Statham High School and was employed by the Department of Labor for 28 years. Mrs. Boyd-Goins was preceded in death by brothers, Billy Boyd and Jamie Boyd.

She was born in Benton County, Miss., she was the daughter of the late Earl and Cliffie Reid Cox. She was a charter member of Morningside Baptist Church. In 1961 they moved to Winder to run the Western Auto. She was a certified nurse assistant at Russell Nursing Home. Mrs. Brasfield was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Brasfield.
Survivors include sons, Grady Brasfield, Atlanta, and Ronnie Brasfield, Dacula; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church for more than 70 years, was employed by the City of Gainesville for 33 years, and was the first woman in the Hall County area to deliver a successful set of triplets.
