WINDER - Charlotte Dephyne Gonzalez, 57, died Saturday, September 19, 2009.
Born in Leeds, Ala., she was the daughter of William Wallace of Brunswick and Bernice Wallace of Winder. She was a waitress. Mrs. Gonzalez was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Rister; granddaughter, Clara Jordan; and brother Shelton Wallace.
Survivors in addition to her parents include a son and daughter-in-law, Jerry Dwayne and Tammy Posey, Oneida, Tenn.; daughters and sons-in-law, Katti and Kevin Senior, Winder, and Laura and Al Terry, Bethlehem; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brother and sister-in-law, Tony and Judy Wallace, Loganville; and sister, Lynn Rettenmaier, Winder.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, September 22, at 4 p.m., at the Bethlehem First Baptist Church, with the Rev. Mike Peavy officiating.
Smith Funeral Home, Winder, is in charge of arrangements.
