Adrian Murphy

PENDERGRASS – Adrian Tony Murphy, 2, died Tuesday, September 15, 2009.

Born in Hall County, he was the son of Tony and Jenny Murphy of Pendergrass. Adrian was preceded in death by grandmother, Sue Murphy; and great-grandfather, Herbert Murphy.

Survivors in addition to his parents include grandparents, Jim and Gloria Fox, Reno, Texas, Frank Murphy, Pendergrass; great-grandparents, Zoe and Lealon Erwin, Ben Franklin, Texas, Ruby and Andy Fox, Reno, Texas, Lucille Murphy, Gainesville; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Friday, September 18, at 2 p.m., from the Maranatha Baptist Church with the Revs. Terry Hagwood and Scott Strickland officiating. Burial will be in the Cave Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Shane Fox, Paul Patton, Larry Joe Murphy, and Joseph Murphy.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in the memory of Adrian to the First Georgia Banking Company, 1465 Old Swimming Pool Rd., Jefferson, GA 30549.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, September 17, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m.

Evans Funeral Home, Jefferson, is in charge of arrangements.

Tony and Jenny,
We are so sorry about your sweet little son, Adrian. He is now an Angel looking down on you. Cherish your memories of him and know you will have him in your arms in Heaven. We are praying for peace in the days to come.

I know Joseph and I am so sorry about the loss of a little person. It's sad enough to lose someone that is old but to lose someone that is littler then you. I am sorry for the loss

I am Joseph's mom and Adrian's Aunt. Thank you for your kind words. It means a lot to all of the family that we have all the prayers and kindness. It has been an eye opener to have lost him at such a young age but we know where he is and know that we will see him again one day.
