JEFFERSON – Stanley M. Kalino Jr., 67, died Saturday, September 5, 2009, in Jefferson, after battling severe health issues.
Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, on September 10, 1941, he resided in Freemont, Manteca and Rio Vista, Calif., most of his life. He was retired from Lockheed Missiles and Space, Sunnyvale, Calif.
Survivors include his wife, Jean Kalino, Jefferson; daughter and son-in-law, Heather and Todd Shultz, Jefferson; and granddaughter, Keely Campbell Shultz, Jefferson.
A celebration and remembrance of his life will be held Sunday, September 27, from 3 to 5 p.m., at the Briarcrest Subdivision Clubhouse at the intersection of Hwys. 11 and 124 in Jefferson.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests friends to consider making memorial contributions to Georgia 4-H Foundation, Stan Kalino Memorial Scholarship, Hoke Smith Annex-UGA, Athens, GA 30602.
Evans Funeral Home, Jefferson, is in charge of arrangements.
