WINDER - Barbara Joan Van Eck, 74, died Monday, August 31, 2009.
She was the daughter of the late Walter Carl and Florence Alnor Beyer. A former resident of Chamblee, she had resided in Winder for the past six years. She was of the Baptist denomination and was a homemaker. Mrs. Van Eck was preceded in death by her husband, Crine Van Eck.
Survivors include children, Karen Van Eck, Atlanta, Diane Roberts and Glenn Van Eck, both of Winder; and grandchildren, Harvey (Billy) Roberts IV and Kelly Roberts, both of Winder.
Graveside services will be held, Wednesday, September 2, at 2 p.m., at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 12 to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
Carter Funeral Home, Winder, is in charge of arrangements.
