JEFFERSON – Maurisa Sellers Damons, 9, died Friday, August 28, 2009.
A native of LaGrange, she was the daughter of Suzanne Sellers and Daniel Damons. She was a student at Jefferson Elementary School and attended the Kingdom Hall in Jefferson. She will be remembered as a friendly and sweet little angel who never met a stranger.
Survivors in addition to her parents, include sisters, Mysterri Maxwell Damons, Mary LaShaun Damons and Haley Damons; a brother, Bryan Austin Sellers; grandmother, Barbara Ann Sellers Hughes; grandfather, Freddie Gene Damons; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral services were held Sunday, August 30, at Fairfield Baptist Church in Statham. Burial was in the church cemetery. Cousins and uncles served as pallbearers. Nieces served as flower girls.
Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, West, Bogart, was in charge of arrangements.

Maurisa we will miss you. You are with god now. We will see you again someday when we get to heaven. Mariah talks about you all the time. She sure does miss you. May you rest in peace babygirl!!
