KERNERSVILLE, N.C - Kathryn Marie Haulbrook Langley, 59 was welcomed into the loving arms of Jesus on August 27, 2009, after suffering from a rare form of cancer that she battled with courage, bravery, and dignity. She dedicated her life to being a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother to her family who will miss her and love her, until we all draw our last breath.
Kathryn was a member of Oaklawn Baptist Church but attended Triad Baptist Church in Kernersville, N.C. Mrs. Langley was preceded in death by her brother, Stan Haulbrook.
Survivors include her husband, Terry L. Langley; daughter and son-in-law, Allison and Mitchell Baine, daughter, Erin Langley, Kernersville, N.C.; parents W.C. and Carol L. Haulbrook; brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Tess Haulbrook Maysville; brother, Chris Haulbrook, Marietta; sister-in-law, Alice Haulbrook, Speedwell, Tenn.; brother-in-law, Larry Langley; sister-in-law, Peggy Willis and her husband Robert, Atlanta; granddaughter, Tiffany Frier and her husband, Adam; grandson, Brandon Baine and his fiancé Amber Reeves; great-grandson, Elijah Frier, Kernersville, N.C.; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins in North Carolina, Georgia and Tennessee.
The immediate family gathered for a final goodbye led by prayer from Pastor Rob Decker of Triad Baptist Church, N.C.
Scattering of her ashes will be conducted at the Maysville Cemetery, Maysville, officiated by Pastor Brian of Maysville Baptist Church, tentatively set for Saturday, September 12, 2009 at 4 p.m.
