ROYSTON – Stephen Harrison Ginn, 10, died Wednesday, August 26, 2009.
Born in Clarke County on July 23, 1999, he was the son of Frank and Robin Tardy Ginn, both of Royston. He was a fourth grade student at Royston Elementary School and was a member of the Royston First United Methodist Church. He was an avid sportsman in which he enjoyed golf, basketball, football, baseball, and video games. Stephen enjoyed life and everyone who crossed his path, and everyone he crossed paths with felt likewise. Stephen was preceded in death by grandfathers, Jim Tardy and Olin Ginn.
Survivors in addition to his parents include a sister, Catherine Michele Ginn, Royston; grandmothers, Suzanne M. Ginn, Stone Mountain, and Clair S. Tardy, Athens; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins who loved him dearly.
A celebration of his life was held Saturday, August 29, at the Royston First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Mac Enfinger officiating. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery in Royston. Uncles were pallbearers.

Pruitt Funeral Home, Royston, was in charge of arrangements.

Such a sad situation, my family and I don't know any of Stephen's family and friends, but the situation has made us very alert of our surroundings and being more careful. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this trying time. May God truly bless you.
