JEFFERSON – Lillie Mae Pruitt Seabolt, 94, died Friday, August 28, 2009.
Born on August 30, 1914, in Jackson County, she was the daughter of the late Ben and Nora Strickland Wright. She owned and operated L.M. Seabolt’s Crafts, was a homemaker, and was of the Baptist denomination. Mrs. Seabolt was preceded in death by husbands, Henry Pruitt and Melvin Seabolt.
Survivors include a daughter, Dolly Stockton, Covington; sons, Luther Pruitt, Pendergrass, Lewis Pruitt, Lake City, Fla., Enoch Pruitt, Jefferson; brothers, B.L. Wright and Joseph Wright, both of Gainesville; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and 18 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 30, at 2 p.m., in the chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Mr. Mark Pruitt officiating. Burial will be in Jackson Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Saturday, August 29, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
