COMER – Charlene Hall Phillips, 46, died Monday, August 24, 2009.

Survivors include her husband, Carey Dion Phillips; daughters, Summer and Skylar Phillips; brothers, James, Calvin, Joe, Doug, John and Frank Phillips; sisters, Gladis Johnson, Sarah Brown, Linda, Magalyn, Elizabeth Hall; sisters-in-law, Beatrice Hall and Katie Hall; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Friday, August 28, at New Covenant Worship Center. Burial was in Holly Creek Church Cemetery in Comer.

Mack & Payne Funeral Home, Athens, was in charge of arrangements.
