Kerry Hill

COLBERT – Kerry Ross Hill, 44, died Sunday, August 23, 2009.

A native of Albuquerque, New Mexico, he was the son of Melvin Hill of Perry, Mich., and the late Gloria Gail Brown Hill. He was employed with Salloum Construction Company for over 14 years and was an active member of Friendship Presbyterian Church. He also was a frequent participant in Relay for Life activities.

Survivors in addition to his father, include his wife, Julie Lee Hill; a daughter, Rebecca Gail Hill, Colbert; and brother, Kevin Hill, Valdosta.

Memorial services will be held Wednesday, August 26, at 2 p.m., at Friendship Presbyterian Church with the Revs. Mari Turner, Jose Torres, and William Mounts officiating. A reception will follow at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Kevin Hill Educational Fund, c/o Friendship Presbyterian Church, 8531 Macon Hwy., Athens, GA 30606, or the American Cancer Society.
