WINDER – Josephine “Jo” H. Green, 86, died Thursday, August 13, 2009.
Born in Turner County, she lived in Winder for five years, coming here from Griffin where she lived for 25 years. She had worked as a beautician and a manicurist. Mrs. Green was preceded in death by husbands Wiley E. Lumsden and J.W. Green.
Survivors include a daughter, Barbara Pettorini, Winder; grandchildren, Phillip and Marcus Linch; great-grandchildren, Phillip Jesse, Christopher, Chretien, Brandon and Chris Linch; great-great-grandchildren, Carson Smith and Madison Yearwood.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, August 19, at 10 a.m., at Wayfare Cemetery in Stockton with the Rev. Al Garvin officiating.
Smith Funeral Home, Winder, is in charge of arrangements.
