JEFFERSON – Abigail Ann “Abby” Pethel, 23 months, died August 9, 2009.
Born in Hall County, the was the daughter of Jade and Holly Pethel of Jefferson. She has been dedicated at the First Baptist Church of Jefferson.
Survivors in addition to her parents, include a sister, Emma Leann Pethel, Jefferson; grandparents, Freddie and Shirley Pethel, Jefferson, and Bob and Leann Burkquist, Roswell; aunts and uncles, Matthew and Andrea Pethel, Tom and Tracy Meritt and Kimberly Gunter.
Private burial services will be held by the family. A public memorial service will be held Thursday, August 13, at 6 p.m., at the First Baptist Church of Jefferson with Michael Helms officiating. A time of visitation will be held immediately after the service.
Flowers are to be omitted. Memorials may be made in memory of Abby to the AFLAC Cancer Center at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, 1687 Tullie Circle, NE, Atlanta, GA 30329, or by online at CHOA.ORG.
Evans Funeral Home, Jefferson, is in charge of arrangements.
