WINDER – Gretchen Jill Griffeth, 43, died Sunday, August 9, 2009, at her residence.
She was the daughter of Sara and Doyle Griffeth of Winder and had lived in Barrow County for most of her life. She was a 1983 graduate of Winder-Barrow High School and attended the Winder First Christian Church. She was a customer service representative with Good Will Industries.
Survivors in addition to her parents include a brother and sister-in-law, Chris and April Griffeth, Zephyr Hills, Fla.; nieces, Ashley Griffeth, Winder, and Casey Griffeth, Zephyr Hills, Fla.; great-nephew, Jack Gee, Winder; and friend, Charles Motes, Winder.
Memorial services will be held Thursday, August 13, at 11 a.m. at the chapel of Carter Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Brooks officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday, August 13, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
