COMMERCE – Henry Mack Segars, 64, died Friday, August 7, 2009, at Athens Regional Medical Center in Athens.
Born in Banks County, he was the son of the late C.W and Sarah McCoy Segars. He was a member of Webbs Creek Baptist Church and was preceded in death by a grandson, Griffin Segars. He worked for Midway Electric Company.
Survivors include his wife, Emma Frances Fulbright Segars, Commerce; sons and daughters-in-law, Todd and Cindy Segars, Commerce, and Shane and Lorie Segars, Statham; brothers, Bill Segars and Jack Segars, both of Athens; grandchildren, Colton, Grayson, and Owen Segars; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday, August 10, at 2 p.m., at Webbs Creek Baptist Church with the Revs. Wade Lott, Bob Hill and Stacy Phillips officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, is in charge of arrangements.

I am so sorry to hear about the Segar family loss! I lost my husbanfd 3 weeks ago tommorow in a horrible car accident on hwy 51 s in lula. My heart felt sympanthy goes out to this family in their time of greiving.
