WINDER - Louise S. Patton, 94, died Thursday, August 6, 2009.
Born in Oconee County, she was a daughter of the late Than and Lena Doster Skinner. She was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Patton; and children, Carolyn P. Courson and William Terrell Patton. Mrs. Patton was the oldest member of the Winder First Christian Church and was a retired supervisor with the Cherokee Manufacturing Company of Winder.
Survivors include children and spouses, Shirley and Monford Clack, Cynthia and Tommy Sauls, and Danny Patton, all of Winder, Brenda and Jarrell Johnson, Auburn; 12 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Myron Skinner, Bethlehem.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, August 9, from the chapel of Carter Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Brooks officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. The Family will receive friends Saturday, April 8, from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
