WINDER – Becky Hewell, 67, died Tuesday, August 4, 2009.
Born in Hall County, she was the daughter of the late Joseph P. and Estee Carithers Adams. She was a member of the First Bethlehem Baptist Church and was a retired nurse. Mrs. Hewell was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Hewell.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Rebecca Hewell, Royston; grandchildren, Bethany Grace Hewell and Brittney Faith Hewell; sisters, Geraldine A. Lee, Winder, and Connie A. Grizzle, Gainesville.
Funeral services will be held Friday, August 7, at 11 a.m., at Smith Memory Chapel with Bill Lewis and Ron Grizzle officiating. Burial will be at Barrow Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday, August 6, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
