COMER – Annie Sue Seymour, 88, died Tuesday, August 4, 2009, at her residence.
Born in Moss Point, Miss., she was the daughter of the late Richard Wheeler and Nettie May Cirlot Belin. She was retired from the Comer Manufacturing Company as a supervisor. Mrs. Seymour was preceded in death by her husband, Sewell Lawrence Seymour; brothers, Louis Antoine Belin and Thomas Cirlot Belin; and a sister, Madora “Dora” Ella Waites.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Marion and Wayne Brown, Comer; son, Sewell Lawrence “Larry” Seymour, Carlton; sister, Willie Clair “Billie” Webb; grandchildren, Lari Brown Scarborough, Colbert, Freda Brown and Jeff Atkinson, Colbert, David Wayne (Kasie Escoe) Brown, Crawford; great-grandchildren, Ethan Scarborough, Jacob “Jake” Scarborough and Travis Atkinson.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, August 5, at 3 p.m., with the Rev. Rodney Owens officiating. Pallbearers will be David Brown, Jeff Atkinson, Ethan Scarborough, Jake Scarborough, Travis Atkinson and Don Glenn.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
