WINDER - Carolyn W. Wise, 83, died Sunday, August 2, 2009.
Born in Gwinnett County, she was the daughter of the late John Thomas and Eva Carolyn Hanes White. She was preceded in death by her husband, Monroe Wise, in 1986. Carolyn served for many years as the cashier at Frank’s House of Biscuits in Winder. She was of the Baptist denomination.
Survivors include nieces, Wanda (Bill) Wilkerson, Lawrenceville, Sandra (Bo) Williams, Camilla, Beverly (Cullis) Taylor, Camilla, and Carol (Paul) Williams, Maryland; nephews, Duane (Gail) White, Camilla, Kelly (Joy) White, Eatonton, Dennis (Kelli) White, Camilla, and Washie (Wanda) White, Greensboro; and a number of great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 4, at 2 p.m. from the Chapel of Carter Funeral Home, with the Revs. Gary Carlyle and Jack Pierce officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday, August 3, from 6 to 9 p.m.
