KNOXVILLE, TENN. - Paul Edward Parker, 85, formerly of Dacula, died Wednesday, July 29, 2009.
He was a veteran of the US Army, retired from the Ford Motor Company and was a 32˚ Mason with lodge # 292 F& AM, Dacula. Mr. Parker was preceded in death by a son, Paul E. Parker, Jr.; and brothers, Alton and Carl Parker.
Survivors include his wife, Etta Mae Parker; stepdaughters, Marsha Sneed and husband, Don Maloney; daughter, Eunice Tolliver, Commerce; stepsons, Gary Sneed and wife Karen, John Sneed and wife Debra, all of Knoxville, Tenn., Mary Harris and husband Tim of Knoxville, Tenn., Lynda Daniel and husband Charles, North Carolina; grandchildren, Jenna Rae Tolliver, Angie Farmer and James Wiegand; five step-grandchildren, Tricia Hastings, Marty Sneed, Jake Sneed, Kary Beth Sneed and Josh Sneed; one great-grandchild, Patricia Kaye Wiegand; numerous great-grandchildren and step-grandchildren; sisters, Nancy Lou Manard, Shirley Mae Carey, and Willie Bell Vanderford, all of Commerce, GA.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 1, at 2 p.m., in the Halls Chapel of Mynatt Funeral Home with the Rev. Charlie Reynolds officiating. Burial will be in Bells Campground Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 1-2 PM at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel, Knoxville, Tenn.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Glen Oak Baptist Church.
