COLBERT – Dorothy Nelle Oldham, 75, died Friday, July 10, 2009.
Born in Jackson County, she was the daughter of the late Golden G. and Jessie A. Lowe Archer. She was retired from Southern Bell and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers.
Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Donald C. Oldham; a daughter, Melanie Kaye Patton, her husband James H. and grandchildren, James W. Patton, Savanah E. Patton and Duncan E. Patton of Comer; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Sunday, July 12, at Lord & Stephens Chapel with the Revs. Dan Fuller, Irvin Goss and Bob Nash officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Memorial Park.
Lord & Stephens Funeral Home West, Bogart, was in charge of arrangements.
