William Edward ‘Eddie’ Jackson, 52, died Thursday, July 23, 2009.
He was the son of Earnestine Jackson and the late William Jackson and was employed with SKC, Inc. for many years.
Survivors in addition to his mother include brothers, Eugene (Peggy) Jackson, and Garry Jackson, all of Athens; a sister, Debra Valentine, North Carolina; half sister, Eula Blackwell; special friend, Patricia Hudson, Bethlehem; aunts, Mildred Damons, Gussie Dunkin, Annie Ree Reddish, Maryln Hinton; uncles, John (Modene) Thrasher and James (Beatrice) Jackson; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Monday, July 27, from Gum Springs Baptist Church in Jefferson, with the Revs. M.C. Teasley and Kenneth P. Cooper officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Eberhart & Son Mortuary, Winder, was in charge of arrangements.
