Helen Manders

WINDER – Helen Manders, 79, died Sunday, July 26, 2009.

A native and lifelong resident of Barrow County, she was the daughter of the late Henry T. and Florence Maffet Manders. Miss Manders was a member of the Winder Church of The Lord Jesus Christ and was a retired seamstress with Cherokee Manufacturing Company of Winder.

Survivors include a sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Loyce Casper, Winder; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 29, in the chapel of Carter Funeral Home with the Revs. Tommy Baker and Johnny Wright officiating. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery.

Carter Funeral Home, Winder, was in charge of arrangements.
