HOSCHTON – Douglas Larry Craft, 65, died Saturday, July 25, 2009.
He was a contract farmer and attended Hebron Baptist Church in Dacula.
Survivors include his wife of 19 years, Gail Craft, Hoschton; children and spouses, Joseph Larry and Paige Craft, Statham, Christi and Chris Holbert, Farmington, Scott and Jen Mewborn, Lawrenceville, Stacy and Kevin Cox, Hoschton; brothers and sisters-in-law, Billy and Mary Craft, Charleston, S.C., Bo and Faye Craft, Bostwick; sister and brother-in-law, Brenda and Dale Angevine, Bethlehem; grandchildren, Nicholas Mewborn, Kristin Baldwin, D.J. Ledford, Kendra Mewborn, Corey Holbert, Hannah Cox, Jacob Cox, Caleb Holbert, Peyton Craft; great-grandchild, Alyson Baldwin; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 28, at 2 p.m., in the Lawrenceville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home with Billy Britt officiating. Burial will be in Shadowlawn Cemetery in Lawrenceville. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday, July 27, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m., and from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, July 28.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Northeast Georgia Medical Center, 743 Spring St., 5th Floor, Gainesville, GA 30501, Attn.: Administration.
