Allen Reed

PENDERGRASS – Allen Glenn Reed, 26, died Thursday, July 16, 2009, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Born in Jackson County, he was the son of Lisa (Whisnant) Pruitt and stepfather, Tommy L. Pruitt, of Pendergrass. He loved to fish, listen to music and play video games, loved ones stated.

Survivors in addition to his mother and stepfather include sisters, Melinda and Jennifer Pruitt, both of Pendergrass; grandparents, Jessie and Gary Reed, Gainesville, and Linda Gregory, Pendergrass; a special friend, Trent Gibbs, Gainesville; and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services were held Sunday, July 19, in the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with the Rev. Scott Wilson officiating. Burial was in Hopewell Baptist Church cemetery.

Memorial South Park Funeral Home, Flowery Branch, was in charge of arrangements.
