ATHENS – Michael Allen Prosser, 50, formerly of Jefferson, died Saturday, June 20, 2009.
Born on January 5, 1959, in Barrow County, he was the son of Ann Allen Prosser of Jefferson and Robert Prosser of Sandersville. He was a self-employed painter.
Survivors include his wife, Becky Streetman Prosser, Athens; children, Brian and Mimi Williamson, Monroe, Dana and Andy Brooks, Bogart; brother, David Lineberger, Athens; and grandchildren, Kayla Williamson, Braxton Brooks, Nolan Williamson and Bailey Williamson.
Memorial services will be held Thursday, June 25, at 7 p.m., in the chapel of Evans Funeral Home with the Rev. Eric Shelton officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, June 25, from 5 to 7 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, make memorials to the St. Mary’s Hospice House, 1660 Jennings Mill Rd., Bogart, GA 30622.
Evans Funeral Home, Jefferson, is in charge of arrangements.
