STATHAM – William Thomas “Billy” Hinesley, 68, died Thursday, June 18, 2009.
Born in Barrow County, he was the son of Harold and Louise Hinesley of Winder. He was a member of Free Chapel Worship Center, retired from the US Postal Service in Athens, and was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Mr. Hinesley was preceded in death by a brother, Douglas Hinesley.
Survivors in addition to his parents include his wife, Becky McDaniel Hinesley, Statham; son, Richard “Richie” Hinesley, Statham; daughter and son-in-law, Holly and Tim Jump, Statham; grandchildren, Hannah and Harrison Jump; and a sister and brother-in-law, Dianne and Tom Fleeman, Winder.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 20, at 1 p.m., at Smith Memory Chapel with Pastor Leon Pass officiating. Burial will be in Barrow Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. before the service.
Smith Funeral Home, Winder, is in charge of arrangements.
