Minnie Gresham

JEFFERSON – Minnie L. Gresham, 66, died Sunday, June 14, 2009.

Born on September 14, 1942, in Jackson County, she was the daughter of the late Johnny and Sadie Lucille Wilson.

Survivors include her husband, Lonnie Gresham, Jefferson; daughters and sons-in-law, Sylvia and Terrell Shields, Rome, Angela and Steve Jackson, and Veronica Gresham, all of Jefferson; a son and daughter-in-law, Morris and Vanessa Gresham, Jefferson; brothers and sister-in-law, the Rev. Fred Wilson, Donald and Betty Wilson, and James Wilson, all of Jefferson; sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary Lois Williams, Ora Dean Rowe, Lavern and Julius Mack, Elease and Issac Simpson, all of Jefferson; Darlene and James Hemphill, Gainesville.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 18, at 2 p.m., at New Salem Baptist Church. Burial will be in Jackson Memorial Park in Commerce. The cortege will assemble 1:15 p.m. Wednesday, June 17, at 906 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Jefferson, Georgia 30549. The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 17, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
