ROYSTON – Willie Dean Nix, 57, died Friday, June 12, 2009.
Born on October 18, 1951, in Jackson County, he was the son of the late Joe Walter and Martha Adams Nix. Mr. Nix was disabled and was a veteran of the United States Army serving during the Vietnam War.
Survivors include daughters, April Meeler, Alto, Keri Mullens, Hull; sisters, Evelyn Kirklan and Jeanette Aaron, both of Jefferson; brother, Danny Nix, Monroe; and four grandchildren.
Private family memorial services will be held at a later date. Those desiring information may call 706-778-3773.
Evans Funeral Home, Jefferson, is in charge of arrangements.

April, you did a wonderful job with your Father's memorial service. He is very proud of you, I know. It was very good to see you. You have grown up to be a beautiful,sweet, caring young lady. You bring pride to the Nix name. Thank you for allowing my mother, sister, and myself to be there. I wish you all the best. May God richly bless you.
