Virginia Bennett

Virginia Loretta Bennett, 91, died Friday, June 12, 2009, at her residence.

Born in Spalding County, she was a daughter of the late Pinkney S. and Minnie B. Medley Pannell. She was a caner at Georgia Chair Factory, and was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Bennett.

Survivors include a daughter, Lyn Robinson, Maysville; sons, Greg Bennett and Richard Bennett, both of Gainesville, Michael Bennett, Bonita, Calif.

Funeral services will be held at a later date. Her wishes were to be cremated.

Little & Davenport Funeral Home, Gainesville, is in charge of arrangements.
