JEFFERSON – Mary Evelyn Jenkins, 81, formerly of Lilburn, died Thursday, June 11, 2009.
She was born on August 17, 1927, in Etowah, Tenn., the daughter of the late Henry Grady and Clevie Amelia Childre Usry.
Survivors include a daughter, Ann Simmons; grandson and spouse, Todd and Tonya Simmons; great-grandson, Gage Simmons, all of Jefferson; brother, Bob Usry, Redondo, Calif., and Tom Usry, Greensboro; and a number of nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.
Private family memorial services will be held at a later date.
