COMMERCE – Jerry Alexander Wade Sr., 60, died Friday, June 12, 2009.
Born in Fulton County, he was the son of the late Steve A. and Edna Harper Wade. He was an auto body repairman and was a veteran, having served in the United States Marine Corp. in the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his wife, Janice Wilson Wade, Commerce; sons, Jerry Wade Jr., Cumming, Johnny Wade, Blairsville, and Michael Wade, Commerce; daughter, Sherrie Wade, Commerce; brothers, Richard Wade, Sharpsburg, and Larry Wade, Jonesboro; and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday, June 15, at 1 p.m., in the chapel of Evans Funeral Home. Burial will be at Melwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday, June 15, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
Evans Funeral Home, Jefferson, is in charge of arrangements.
