Neva Pearl Lynch Aten, 90, of Winder, died Sunday, May 11, 2008.
She was born in Grant City, Mo., the daughter of the late Tom and Mabel Miller Lynch. She grew up in Lamoni, Iowa, but was a 42-year resident of Winder. She was active for many years with the Winder First United Methodist Church, and was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Aten; and brothers, Glen and Lee Lynch. She will be missed by her family and friends, loved ones stated.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Judy Aten, Greenville, S.C.; granddaughter and spouse, Linda and Will Fredin, Granite Falls, Wash.; and grandson, Thomas Aten, Washington, D.C.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 15, at 11 a.m., at Smith Memory Chapel with the Rev. Terry Tippens officiating. Burial will be in Barrow Memorial Gardens.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Winder First United Methodist Church.
