LULA – Eula Davis Adamson, 90, died Sunday, June 7, 2009, following an extended illness.
Born in Banks County on November 19, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Coley Carpenter Davis. She attended Mt. Carmel Baptist Church and had worked at East Hall High School in the education field as a bookkeeper for many years. Mrs. Adamson was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse W. Adamson; brothers, Clyde and Hoyt Davis; sisters, Azalea Preveligianos and Winnie Murray.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Ray and Sandy Adamson, Lula; granddaughter, Amber Adamson, Lula; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held Friday, June 12, at 2:30 p.m., at Whitfield Funeral Home with the Rev. Drewery Loggins officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home at 12:30 until 2:15 p.m. Friday, June 12, at the funeral home.
