COMER – Beria Coile Martin, 87, died Monday, June 8, 2009, at her residence.
Born in Madison County on August 20, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Tom and Dessie Graham Coile. She was a homemaker and a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church. Mrs. Martin was preceded in death by her husband, Sarge Dewey Martin Sr.; and sons, Tommy Ed Martin, Sarge Dewey Martin Jr. and Roger Eugene Martin.
Survivors include a daughter, Becky Crowe, Royston; son, Ricky C. Martin, Comer; sister, Sue Coile, Comer; 10 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and a number of great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Thursday, June 11, in the chapel of Pruitt Funeral Home with the Rev. David Gilleland and Mr. Otis Graham officiating.
Pruitt Funeral Home, Royston, was in charge of arrangements.
