Nellie Greene

Nellie Ruth Greene, 78, of Hull, died Saturday, June 21, 2008, at her residence.

She was born in Madison County, the daughter of the late Monroe and Mattie Queen Casey. She was a homemaker and had been a lifetime resident of Madison County. Mrs. Greene was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Hubert Greene; and children, Joyce Nalley, Charles Greene, Deborah Greene and David Greene.

Survivors include daughters, Jonell Bryant, Ginger Cullison and Eva Cowart, all of Hull, and Peggy Weaver, Danielsville; sons, Henry Greene, Mississippi, Ed Greene, Madison County, and Bobby Greene, Hull; and many, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held in the chapel of Brown Funeral Home with Sister Janice Loggins officiating. She was cremated following the services.

Brown Funeral Home, Danielsville, was in charge of arrangements.
