FLOWERY BRANCH – Patrick Jordan, 92, died Friday, June 5, 2009, at his residence following an extended illness.
Born on April 15, 1917, in Robbinsville, N.C., he was the son of the late Jeff and Mae Williams Jordan. He was a farmer and of the Baptist denomination. Mr. Jordan was preceded in death by his sister, Florence Jordan; and brother, Boyd Jordan.
Survivors include his wife, Eloise Jordan, Flowery Branch; daughters and sons-in-law, Shirley and Sam Gosnell, Polly and Mike Robinson, Jackie and Jim Amber, all of Gainesville, Linda and Buddy Reed, Debbie and Tony Lovell, all of Flowery Branch; sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry and Diana Jordan, Lula, Gene and Lynn Jordan, Clermont and David and Sandy Jordan, Gainesville; 16 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; sisters, Bessie Jordan and Betty Milsaps, both of Robbinsville, N.C.
Funeral services were held Monday, June 8, in the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with the Revs. Tony Lovell, Ronnie Lingerfelt and Ron Miller officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Memorial Park Funeral Home, Gainesville, was in charge of arrangements.
