AUBURN – Cynthia Mae Teasley Brown, 81, died Friday, May 29, 2009.
Born in Hart County, she lived in the metro Atlanta area since the age of 17. She was the last survivor of 22 children, and was retired from Mack Trucks, Inc. with over 30 years of service. She was a member of the Snellville United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Wallace G. Brown, Auburn; children, Wallace “Ed” and Annette W. Brown, Auburn, and Donna C. and Don Beadle, Huntsville, Ala.; grandchildren, Erica F. Brown and Adam E. Brown, both of Auburn, Capt. Beau A. and Jennifer Block, Enid, Okla., and Master Sgt. Jose and Brandy D. Rodriguez, Rock Creek, Ill.; great- grandchildren, Isabella Rodriguez and Aidan Rodriguez, both of Rock Creek, Ill., and Alexis Block and Marcus Block, both of Enid, Okla.; son-in-law, Terry J. Block, Hilton Head, S.C.; a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions be made to the Relay For Life (Auburn Chapter) or the Gwinnett Medical Center Foundation.
Hamilton Mill Chapel, Buford, is in charge of arrangements.
