COMMERCE – Deborah Jo McLendon, 51, died Saturday, May 30, 2009.
Born in Jackson County, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth Eugene and Dorothy Sue Archer Fowler. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include sons, Shane McLendon, Maysville, and Johnny McLendon, Atlanta; a brother, Carl Fowler, Colbert; sisters, Phylliss Hopper, Lula, and Yvonne Owensby, Homer; four grandchildren; and fiancé, Alan Stockton.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 3, at 3 p.m., in the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with the Revs. Robbie Ledford and David Sharpton officiating. Burial will be at Grey Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, June 2, from 6 to 9 p.m.
