BETHLEHEM – Betty Jean Morris, 73, died Saturday, May 30, 2009.
Born in Barrow County, she was the daughter of the late James W. and Allie Morris. She graduated from Winder High School Class of 1953 and worked for General Telephone for a number of years. She was a member of Hebron Baptist Church in Dacula, and was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Lamar Morris. Mrs. Morris loved to crochet and made several beautiful bedspreads and blankets, loved ones stated.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Jeanne Morris, Bethlehem; grandchildren, Jimmy Lipham, Bethlehem, Jennifer Seymour, Ft. Stewart, and Bobby Pineir, Inola, Okla.; three great-grandchildren; and a brother, Jim Patrick, Winder.
Funeral services will be held Monday, June 1, at 2 p.m., Smith Memory Chapel with the Rev. Mack Palmer officiating. Burial will be in Barrow Memorial Gardens.
